Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Decor, local artist features, very attentive staff, quiet, nice rooftop for outdoor space. Loved the wooden slat ceiling in the bedroom. Liked the secure and personalized entry without physical keys required.
Negative: Bathroom could have been cleaner. Pillows were not very comfortable for me - too tall/bouncy. Would have appreciated a mounted outlet or usb inputs on the bedside tables, I needed to move the bedside table out to reach the outlet which just felt weird in such a beautiful room. Bedside drawers were only drawer space, for clothing for example. Bathroom storage was very limited and didn’t love grabbing towels from under the sink behind a curtain. As much as the quiet is nice, it felt a bit awkward to spend much time in common areas when I was usually alone or 1:1 with staff. I never saw either bar regularly staffed, though I was there over a summer weekend when their website led me to believe it would be a fun place to have a drink. Instead it felt awkward or like I was interrupting staff to ask for anything.
