This house is located along a steep and windy road and when we have snow and the temperatures dip below freezing a section of the road can be icy and dangerous. If you are planning to visit in winter please check in with me prior to arrival to gauge the state of the road; we do not want guests, our housecleaners or anyone else to encounter dangerous conditions and might ask you to cancel your booking if the road is icy in order to ensure that you and your travel-mates will be able to get up and down the road safely. In seasons other than the below-zero days of winter when there is snow and ice on the road there is no problem getting up and down to and from the house.
