Summary: The Bayview Grand is a huge residencial condo next to the airport. There is a wide beach in front, a very long series of pools and spacious well groomed gardens all around. The place was very quiet in November. Maria's condo has good views from the fourth floor and is just right for two persons. The kitchen has a clean stove and fridge and a new microwave. The kitchen equipment is sufficient to prepare your avereage vacation fare. Be careful with the plastic dinner ware however because it gets very hot in the microwave. Also watch out with the rubber cooking utensils near the open flame of the gas stove. The towels are in excellent condition and the air con looks new, works well and is very quiet. The place is generally clean except for difficult areas like the shower door sliders that are past their useful life and are due for a replacement. The one thing we have a very poor opinion of is the internet. The provider is poor and the connection slow. Ad for the wi fi, you need to be sitting on the bed next to the modem to do anything serious. In the living room it's very slow and cuts off continually. On the balcony, forget it! I assume Maria will eventually be upgrading the condo and its contents which in our opinion was fairly priced.
