Summary: Our family of six adults and two children, ages three and five, thoroughly enjoyed our 10-day stay at this wonderful property over the holidays. The house is every bit as inviting as the pictures and previous reviews suggest. Pre-arrival communication with the host and Reuben, the house manager, were prompt and informative. The location is, as advertised, remote. Once you leave the paved road, be prepared for a long, but maintained sandy drive to the house. We provided Reuben with an extensive pre-arrival grocery shopping list, which he fulfilled with apluomb. This was necessary as there are only few local stores to buy supplies once you arrive, other than a QuikStop-like shop. The house and especially the kitchen were well equipped. Surprisingly the WiFi was strong with different zones available throughout the large house, which allowed for streaming movies using the Apple TVs located in most rooms. Not surprisingly the kids loved the pool and jacuzzi. You can only heat one at a time, but with careful shuffling, it was not a problem, though in the winter be prepared to pay $150/day to do so. Reuben was available to assist in every way, including making dinner reservations at the nearby Four Seasons, arranging for ATVs to be delivered and recommending a terrific masseuse who came to the house. Her also recommended a local chef who prepared dinners for us on five separate occasions. Alexa and Manuel were terrific! If you use them, ask for the Chicken Mole. It was our most delicious catered meal. Being as remote as the location is, the stars put on a show each night, especially sitting around the fire pit. And the sunsets looking back over the rugged Sierra de Juárez mountains were spectacular. The only downside was how windy it was for the first part of our stay. But given the beauty and warm days, it was not a major distraction. Highly recommend this property if you want a secluded vacation with many amenities. Nothing beats opening the doors to a fresh ocean breeze.
