Casa Sirena, (Formerly Casa Crist), is a Mexican Surf Retreat on the beach at Playa La Saladita just a 5 minute
beach walk to the surf break and it's famous 'left breaking wave' .
Built in Mexican beach style architecture, our accommodations are designed to provide a comfortable , relaxing beach vacation experience for surfers and non-surfers alike.
Casa Sirena is a 3 bedroom/ 3 1/2 bath house with fully equipped open air kitchen, bar, dining and living area with ocean views. The 2 master suites upstairs are enclosed with ceiling fans and covered decks which provide incredible views of the surf point at Playa Saladita. Downstairs bedroom and bath has ocean views. This bedroom has 2 twins or King. 2 rollaways, crib and rollaways can be added to any bedroom to provide additional sleeping. Walk down the stairs from the main house to the pool and the garden with covered patio and an outdoor shower and bathhouse . From here walk out of gate and a few steps to sand beach and ocean.
Here you will find the enclosed bodega equipped with a collection of surfboards, boogie boards, kids surfboards and 3 SUPs for your personal use.
1 bedroom Casita on beach, (Casa Bodhicitta), can be rented separately and is not included in this rental. It shares common area of pool and deck .
Your stay includes daily maid service.
Playa La Saladita is a low key tropical paradise, no highrise condo's or hotels, just great fishing, surfing and kayaking. With it's nice sandy beaches on a bay, it is perfect for swimming and long walks on the remote coastline. Small restaurants dot the beach with Lourdes Bar & Grill for Internet and surf rentals and accessories.
Activities are varied with surfing being number one . The point break featuring long 'lefts' is a 5 minute walk or 10 minute paddle from the house. The Ranch, a favorite spot for short boarders and long boarders alike, featuring a stronger, steeper wave is a 30 minute drive north or a 20 minute boat ride from Saladita. There are other great surfspots nearby accessible by car or boat.
Troncones, a 20 minute drive south , is home to Present Moment Retreat, a world class Yoga retreat and Spa . Here you will find many restaurants and shopping opportunities.
Playa La Saladita is 35 min. north of Zihuatanejo and Ixtapa where the International Airport is located with flights from USA and Mexico City. Airlines with direct flights from US include Alaska Airlines, Delta, American. Many other airlines have direct connections from Mexico City.Major US auto rental agencies are located in the airport as well as direct taxi service.
