The Space:
You and your crew will love staying in this gorgeous family-and-pet-friendly home located about 5 minutes from La Fuente de las Ocho Regiones (the Fountain of the 8 Regions) and 15 minutes from downtown, in one of the most tranquil neighborhoods in Oaxaca. Plus, the owner of the home has a Mezcalera, and we can arrange a Mezcal and beer tasting at the home, an authentic Mexican treat!

The home is nestled in one of the most peaceful neighborhoods in the city, just a short 5-minute drive from the Fountain of the 8 Regions and only 15 minutes away from downtown Oaxaca. You’ll be close to pharmacies, hospitals, restaurants, cafes and the tourist area. If you seek suggestions for exploring the city, don't hesitate to inquire! Whether it's breakfast, lunch, dinner, a scenic walk, or entertainment, we have insider recommendations to help you experience Oaxaca like a true local.
Getting Around:
The nearest international airport is the Oaxaca International Airport, and it’s about 12 km or 7.5 miles away. There’s parking space for 2 vehicles at the property, one indoor and one outdoor, if you’re arriving by car. Should you prefer leaving your vehicle behind, convenient options like UBER or DIDI are readily available.
Other Things to Note:
Guests will need to climb stairs inside the home.
There is no daily housekeeping, however, if you’d like to have the home cleaned during your stay, you can add this for an extra fee. Let us know if you require a mid-stay cleaning prior to your arrival or at least 48 hours in advance.
Guests will need to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation and/or upon arrival.
A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in, subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.
There is a drought in the region, which means the area experiences water shortages where at times, you can be without water for 4-5 hours. Recycled water is an easy alternative to help us, and the environment, with the shortage of water resources. We ask that you please use water consciously, turn it off when it's absolutely not needed, and recycle your shower water for times when needed to flush the toilet. (Simply place the bucket under the running shower while you wait for the water to warm up and use it later, if needed, to flush the bathroom).
If you have to turn on the water pump, do not let it run for more than 15 minutes or the cistern might empty.

We kindly ask all guests to please abide by these HOUSE RULES:
- Travelers must be at least 20 years of age or older to book.
- No smoking of any kind (tobacco, cannabis, etc.) inside the home, and the use of recreational drugs at the property is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $300 penalty.
- No parties, events, or illegal activity is prohibited, and excessive noise will not be tolerated, especially after 10 pm, to respect the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed.
- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or extra-cleaning charges if needed after their stay.
- Renters may be required to provide a government ID at check-in or during their stay if ID verification is needed.
- A maximum of one small-to-medium-sized dog is allowed with required approval from the property manager prior to your stay. Extra fees may be incurred for excessive pet hair, and pets are prohibited from using furniture.
