The Space:
If you’re looking for an amazing stay for your group, look no further! Puerta Cortes Las Colinas is a gated community located among the El Cortes golf course outside of La Paz on the way to Balandra Beach and provides breathtaking landscapes. You’ll enjoy the golf course and sunset views from the terrace!
There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms in the home, comfortable enough to accommodate 9 people and perfect for a group of friends or family vacation. The primary room is equipped with a king-sized bed, an ensuite bathroom with a separate tub and shower, a Smart TV and direct access to the terrace. Bedroom 2 features a plush queen-sized bed, and Bedroom 3 has a bunk bed with a pullout trundle bed to sleep 5!
You’ll have a beautiful terrace where you can dine outdoors or lounge on the cushioned loungers soaking in the sun overlooking the golf course. The stunning La Paz sunsets come free! They’ll take your breath away.
The open-plan living room features a comfortable sectional sofa and wall-mounted Smart TV to enjoy relaxing downtime moments when home! There’s an indoor dining area and table with sunset views!
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals at home. The granite countertop breakfast bar has barstools for a quick snack or extra seating. Here and at the dining table, make a great laptop workspace, too, if needed.
There’s a washer and dryer in the home for added convenience.
You will have access to the communal infinity pool in Las Colinas, which provides a great option for swimming and enjoying amazing sunsets. Or visit the Puerta Cortes Beach Club, where you can lounge on the beach, swim in the sea, and enjoy a variety of water activities. So, whether you prefer the tranquil waters of the pool or the refreshing ocean waves, you'll have plenty of options for relaxation and fun during your stay.
Additionally, if you're a golf enthusiast, you'll love knowing that there's a world-class golf course at the resort. (The house rental includes a golf cart, not greens fees.)

The Neighborhood:
Las Colinas is a gated community nestled in the El Cortes golf course outside of La Paz on the way to Balandra Beach and only a 10-minute drive from downtown. This residential area features amazing views of the mountains, ocean, and of course, the golf course and famous La Paz sunsets! There’s a community pool nearby and access to the resort beach club.
Getting Around:
The home is about 10.2 miles | 16.5 km or about a 25-min drive to/from the Airport (LAP), and it’s a 2 hr 45-min drive or 123 miles | 198 km to/from San Jose del Cabo International Airport (SJD).
Other Things to Note:
The area will be experiencing power outages for the next 4 months due to the high temperature in the city during summer.
IMPORTANT NOTE: During the summer months, the area experiences water shortages where, at times, you can be without water for 4-5 hours. Recycled water is an easy alternative to help us and the environment. We ask that you please use water consciously, turning it off when it's absolutely not needed and recycle your shower water to use to flush the toilet. (Simply place the bucket under the running shower while you wait for the water to warm up and use it later, if needed, to flush the bathroom). Our local team can provide you with assistance if you have questions.
We provide a limited supply of essentials like soap and toilet paper to get you started. You’ll have to pack or purchase other items, like shampoo, shower gel, etc. if needed.
Electricity is included in short-term stays but not included for long-term stays over 28 nights.
Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.
A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in, subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.
Surveillance cameras are located in outdoor public areas for security and safety reasons only.
HOUSE RULES:
- Travelers must be at least 21 years of age or older to book.
- No smoking of any kind (tobacco or cannabis) is allowed inside the home, and the use of any recreational drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $300 penalty.
- No parties or events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited, and excessive noise will not be tolerated, especially after 10 pm. Quiet hours are from 11 pm to 7 am. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed.
- No tent or other structures may be set up on the property grounds.
- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if needed after their stay.
- Renters may be required to provide a government ID on the day of checking in or during their stay.
- Please avoid moving furniture.
- Pets are not allowed.
Interaction with Guests:
You’ll have complete privacy in the home during your stay. Should you need anything, please let us know. We’re available 7 days a week.
