Summary: We arrived around 2pm to join a larger group of friends and family that were in Puerto Vallarta for the weekend. We Tried to check in on the Krystal Grand side but Juan rudely told us that our reservation was only for 1 person and that we needed to go complete our check in on the Hacienda side of the property. On the Hacienda side the check in person that assisted us called someone to explain that we booked through Expedia and the reservation was intended for 2 people. They allowed it, registered us and told us our room would be ready after 3pm. We returned at 3pm for our keys and when we arrived at our room the AC was not working. It was set at 65 but the room temp was 82. We called maintenance and they sent someone after we called 3 times. The maintenance guy "released some trapped air" and told us to give it about 30 minutes. After 30 minutes we didnt feel an improvement and asked to be switched to another room. First they told us they were fully booked and couldn't accommodate and after expressing our frustration we were assisted by another person that claimed he was going to hook us up with an upgrade. The upgrade was useless to us and all we asked for was the type of room we pre-paid with an AC that works. After all that they assigned us a room and when we got there they keys didnt work. The administration staff is a nightmare. If it wasn't for the service staff we wouldnt even rate this place a 1 star.
