• THE STORY
I fell in love with Pioneertown the first time I walked into Pappy and Harriet's many years ago, and I bought my house here in 2018. I spent about a year completely renovating it, and now I split my time between Los Angeles and Pioneertown. This isn't just a rental, it's my home. All of the decor and furnishings were carefully selected, and I do have some personal things here. Please be respectful and I hope you enjoy the property as much as I do!
• THE SPACE
The Pioneertown Lodge is a 2000 square foot three bedroom, two bath modern oasis just across the road from downtown Mane Street. Designed in a blend of Scandinavian hygge coziness and Japanese minimalism infused with the spirit of the desert, the home is furnished with carefully selected bohemian, modern and vintage pieces. It’s the perfect place to connect with friends and family, or spend the night after a show at the iconic desert roadhouse Pappy and Harriet’s. Hiking trails in the Pioneertown Mountain Preserve (a locals’ favorite) are super close, and the west entrance of Joshua Tree National Park is just 25 minutes away. Stroll over to downtown Pioneertown (about a mile away) to check out the shops and the newly reopened Pioneer Bowl, grab tacos or drinks at Red Dog, hang out at Pappy’s, and then head back to your dreamy abode to decompress and revel in the desert night sky—it’s the perfect place for stargazing. You’ll never want to leave.
• BEDROOMS + BATHROOMS
The property features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and sleeps 6 people. The primary has an en suite bathroom with a dramatic tiled shower and wall, and king bed with a luxury firm Saatva mattress. The other 2 bedrooms have queen beds with super comfy memory foam mattresses. The second bathroom is in the hall.
• LIVING + DINING
The property boasts an open floor plan that seamlessly transitions from one space to the next. Chat with a loved one in the conversation area. Sink in to the plush leather couch in the living area while you watch TV or listen to records, or play your music from the bluetooth enabled Bose soundbar. Dine while watching the sunset out the huge floor to ceiling windows (dining table seats 6.)
• KITCHEN
The kitchen has a gas stove and oven, pots and pans so you can cook up a nice desert meal. Two leather stools sit at the butcher block counter top, and the kitchen table has seats for 6. Coffee maker, expresso machine, cold brew maker, small Magic bullet blender, toaster, microwave.
• THE OUTDOORS
The property sits on just over an acre of land with plenty of hang out areas. Watch the sun set over the Sawtooth mountains from the front patio, or relax on a hammock on the covered back patio. Sit out by the propane firepit or chill in the hot tub. The back patio also has a couch, propane grill and picnic table for all your BBQing needs.

Guests have access to the entire property.
Other things to note
This is the desert and you'll probably see some wildlife while you're out here. If you brings pets, please keep them close when you're outside - we do have coyotes, bobcats, snakes, and scorpions!
The house is on a well, so the water pressure in the kitchen is a little low. This is normal, just be aware.
