The beautiful Los Cerritos Beach is known in Baja California Sur for being one of the only places to safely swim and surf in the Pacific Ocean. And if you're looking for an oceanfront, "resort-like" complex, Sol Pacifico Cerritos (SPC) is the only place in Los Cerritos Beach that provides that resort-like feeling.
SPC is family friendly, yet perfect for quiet, romantic getaways and girlfriend getaways with lots of room for fun and relaxation. This oceanfront, 8-building complex is comprised of 55 oceanfront, privately owned condominiums and boasts a huge infinity pool, on-site restaurant, an exceptional gym, and much more. Our condo is located in the center of SPC, high up on the 4th floor overlooking the pool and ocean. It offers a wonderful, 2 master-suite floor plan, each with their own oceanfront balcony. The master suites are separated in the condo by a "common area" including kitchen, dining room, half-bath, living room, and 3rd oceanfront balcony (floor plan attached in the photos section.) It's equipped with all the luxuries you want like high-speed internet, AC, full-sized washer and dryer, and full-sized kitchen making this your home away from home! Beautiful sunsets (and whales, if you time your stay) can be viewed from any of our balconies, pool area, or beach.
Note about the # of beds: Technically, we do have 5 beds (places to sleep.) As mentioned, our condo has 2 master suites separated by a common area. Each master suite has a king bed. For parties with more than 4 people, we have two high-quality, 20" thick, queen air mattresses with built-in electric pumps. We also have an "L" shaped sectional couch so they are perfect for children and teenagers.
Note about Swimming: Although swimming is safe most of the time at Cerritos Beach and the waves are big and fun straight out from our condo, there are days when mother nature is not so kind. Large waves and strong currents are possible to the point that it is not safe to play in the ocean. So be cautious when you first get into the ocean and determine if the currents are too strong for you. Remember, the ocean always wins, so be careful. Also remember that our massive infinity pool is an amazing backup plan when the ocean is angry!
SAFEST PLACE
The highest likelihood of getting into the ocean safely is at the far end (northern end) of the beach next to the rocks and palapa at the base of the architecturally beautiful hotel sitting on top of the rocky point (closed for years). The ocean is much more protected here than directly out in front of our condo. The beach is almost flat with a gentle slope out into the ocean making it the safest place to get into the ocean on Cerritos Beach, especially for young children and adults that are not that stable on their feet.
