Positive: The location was very convenient — just a few minutes’ walk from the ADO bus terminal. There is also a nice park nearby that seems to be the center of the town, with many restaurants around it. The colectivo stop for Chichén Itzá is also within walking distance. There was also a bank nearby, and I was able to withdraw cash from the ATM around 9 PM without any problem. Basically, most things are within a few minutes’ walk. I arrived at night, and the staff kindly told me that I could pay the next day, which was very helpful. The hostel has a kitchen and a water dispenser, which is very useful. I didn’t use it myself, but they can also help you book tours. The staff were very kind and always explained things clearly when I had questions.

Negative: There was almost nothing bad to mention, but the light in the bathroom was mostly out. That was the only small issue.
