Summary: What an amazing find! The location of this gem was at first confusing--we were dropped off after a quick ride from the airport at a heavy wooden door on a busy street, between a taco stand and a convenience store. But upon entering that door, we found ourselves in a peaceful oasis, right in the middle of the most exciting part of the city. The spacious apartment, a two-bedroom flat, was ideal for our week-long stay, with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and bedding, satellite tv, and wifi (but who needed television and wifi when there is so much do do and see?). And the location could not have been more ideal! We easily walked to astounding historical sites, gourmet restaurants (and street food and pastry shops), incredible shopping (and street vendors), and lively nightlife. For our tours and forays into areas outside the historical district, Uber had no problem finding us, and a car was always within two minutes away, regardless of the time of day. Our hostess was equally ideal: gracious with communicating information and advice, and quick to respond to our many questions.
We are delighted to recommend Casa Donceles as a Mexico City retreat for families, couples, or individual travelers. If we ever return to the area, we will not hesitate to contact Livia with our dates in the hopes that we can return to her peaceful retreat in the heart of the historic district.

Summary: This lovely apartment is steps away from some of the top attractions in Mexico City. You could spend your first few days just exploring what's in the immediate neighbourhood. The apartment is well maintained, well equipped and the management staff is friendly and very helpful. It was my first time in CDMX and I will definitely return to this location because a week is just not enough time to see all that this amazing city has to offer.

Summary: I must say that I was so thrilled to have found Donceles 26. Eduardo, Livia, and Luisa went above and beyond for us. Anytime we needed anything, all three were there whether it was in person or over the phone. The communication was fast and easy. As for the apartment, they are brand spanking new. They are so comfortable. The kitchen was so nice and easy to cook any meals and of course, a microwave to reheat our leftovers. The location is ideal. El Palacio de Bellas Artes is literally a 5 minute walk. From the Apartment to el Zocalo, it is maybe a 10-15 minute walk. We felt very safe. Uber was able to locate us immediately and easy from our apt. The beds are very comfortable.
The Wifi was a bit limited but if you sit in the their comfortable couches by the office, you can easily access the Wifi without a problem. Everyday, Eduardo would stop us on the way out or in to ask how our stay was going and if there was anything we needed to just let him know. Livia was just a phone call away. Luisa made sure we were taken care of - all three of these wonderful people did. We will definitely return to Donceles 26 in the future and I would recommend this location to anyone who wants to visit the beautiful city of Mexico DF. Gracias Livia, Eduardo y Luisa!!!! Nos vemos pronto!!
