With Los Arcos, you are renting the entire estate with a guesthouse designed for family gatherings and larger groups. The sandy beach of Punta Pescadero on the Sea of Cortez is the ultimate Baja vacation spot. Look down the uninhabited beach, watch the sun rise in the morning, and look the other direction to see it set at dusk.
Los Arcos is built on a huge double lot and has a master bedroom suite (king-size bed) as well as two separate other suites (two queen beds and a bunk bed) in the main house, each room has a separate full bath and shower. In addition, there is a casitas suite attached to the garage with three queen beds and a full bath, perfect for the kids or overflow guests.
The separation of the various suites makes this ideal for several families or corporate business retreats. When the temperature heats up, every room has air conditioning and a circulation fan.
There is a huge covered veranda around the entire house where you can always find a quiet spot away from the sun or wind. From the veranda you can descend down to the enclosed beach play area with its fire pit and covered Palapa. From there just walk over the sand into the warm Sea of Cortez to go snorkeling to look at the tropical fish and coral.
The Punta Pescadero resort is a short walk down the road where you can play horseshoes, rent ATV’s, scuba gear, basketball, a restaurant and a full bar overlooking the water where they make a great margarita.
Linens and towels are all included during your stay. If you want daily cleaning service, a cook, and meals delivered, it's all possible. Our property manager, Jose Maria, is around to help you arrange activities, meals, live music and help fulfill all your expectations, be it fishing excursions or other local trips of interest. If you want any meals brought in or cooked at the house, he can supply you with a menu from his wife’s restaurant.
Fishing? You can rent a 26' super-panga with a captain from Jose Maria. Sierra, Pargo, roosterfish, yellowtail, tuna, and marlin all frequent this area. Our captains have grown up fishing in this area, no one knows it better!
ATVs? You can rent and get them delivered to the house from Sergio's ATV rentals. Both Quads and Razors are available for rent, and there are tons of trails and roads to explore. If you are a fisherman, an ATV gives you a huge advantage in chasing down those roosterfish. During turtle nesting season, please don't ride on the beach!
Mountain Biking? Bikes are available from Punta Pescadero or Las Barriles, where they have guided tours and will transport you to the top of the track by van for a wild ride down some of the best bike trails in Baja.
Paddleboarding? We have 2 paddleboards at the house for our guests.
Kayaking? We have 2 kayaks at Los Arcos, and the secluded beach gives you the perfect starting point for your ocean adventures. Paddling among dolphins and manta rays is a great way to start the day.
Movies? Los Arcos has a dedicated DSL-internet connection, an extensive collection of 300 DVD movies, Netflix and a stereo system.
Kiteboarding? There is a great windsurfing and kiteboarding school nearby for beginners and experts who enjoy the constant ocean breeze during the season.
Pickleball? There is a new pickleball resort just a few minutes drive away with classes and equipment for rent. It's a great way to keep the kids (and adults) entertained and exercised. They also have one of the best restaurants in the area.
Scuba Diving? Check out the world-famous Cabo Pulmo Marine Park a short drive away.
Shopping? Plenty of local souvenir and convenience shops in the nearby town of Los Barriles
Restaurants? Steps away from the local resort restaurant, a short drive to several friendly local restaurants that serve fresh fish, lobster, and some of the best margaritas in Baja.
