Positive: Since our originally booked Airbnb hot maintenance work on the two pools we decided to cancel that and had to find something new within five minutes fortunately we found this penthouse right next door and we’re able to book it very quickly. The location is lovely. It is very spacious we were a total of six adults one child of five and two 1-year-olds. The best part of this property was a little pool on the rooftop which was ideal for the kids. We also loved the direct short walk to the beach. The bedroom downstairs had its own bathroom. as well as the master suite the other two bedrooms shared one bathroom which was totally fine. All beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and was very well equipped. We spend our time mostly either at the pool or at the beach.

Negative: Unfortunately at our arrival the apartment did not seem to have been cleaned. There were heaps of laundry (towels and bed linen )in the laundry room that were a bit smelly. I assume from the previous guests? This was a bit disappointing since they were not enough towels distributed in the rooms for all of us therefore we had to wash them the bathroom in the master suite had two cockroaches which we had to throw out immediately of course, and the drainage had a strong smell. On the third day of our stay the smart lock on the front door of the penthouse stopped working and we weren’t able to get into the penthouse for 1 1/2 hours. The reason for this was that the battery of the smart lock was empty maintenance worker tried to help us, but we’re not able to open the door the contact with “Querida Estancia” was unfriendly unhelpful and to be honest quite disappointing and not solution oriented at all but in the end a maintenance worker was able to climb over the balcony fence from another building onto the rooftop of our penthouse and somehow managed(through a window) to get inside and open the door from within. They then exchange the batteries and we were able to continue our lovely vacation in Nuevo Vallarta.
